This
sample is the shedded skin of an iguana.
A healthy iguana sheds its entire skin (including the skin over
its ears and the spikes on its back) in one piece every 4-6 weeks.
Before shedding the iguana's color will start to change; it will
become dimmer and duller. As time goes on white patches will
begin to appear on the iguana and the skin will shed. It usually
takes about one week for the shedding process to occur.
